Basic Functions:

The five responsibilities of this position are as follows:

  • Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S)
    • Lead, document and improve all EH&S processes
  • Current Equipment Maintenance
    • Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance to keep printers and converters in high level of readiness
  • Researching New Equipment for Expansion
    • Work with sales/ops teams to research new equipment and manage purchase and landing any new equipment
  • Facilities Maintenance
    • Maintain the facility and all respective systems in good working order
  • Raw Materials Specification and Testing
    • Work with sourcing personnel to test potential raw materials for use

Reports to: VP, Operations

Role Requirements:

Experience:

Engineering degree required.  Prefer 10+ years experience in a printing production environment.  Ideal experience would include maintenance on Durst, screen, and flexographic printers plus converting equipment. The candidate should be familiar with safety programs, quality processes, production scheduling, and component drawings/routings.  Lean and/or Six Sigma a plus.
