Position Summary:
DuraMark Technologies is seeking a motivated, strategic, and process-driven General Manager to oversee our Little Canada, MN location. The General Manager will lead overall site operations and performance, including production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and safety to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability, and team engagement. The General Manager is responsible for aligning the site’s activities with company objectives while developing strong leaders, building a culture of accountability and teamwork, and driving continuous improvement across all functions.

Reports to: VP, Operations
Direct reports: Area Managers, Maintenance Supervisor, Quality Manager, Purchasing, and Site Administrative Support (as applicable)
Objective and Overview:
Strategic:
- Develop and execute annual site goals aligned with company strategy.
- Lead site-level initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to manage site capacity and optimize throughput.
- Drive a culture of transparency, accountability, and teamwork through consistent communication and leadership routines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
Tactical:
- Lead and coach cross-functional teams in daily Tier and L-10 meetings to drive alignment and rapid problem solving.
- Champion a safe workplace by enforcing safety standards, conducting audits, and supporting proactive safety initiatives.
- Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and performance metrics to achieve on-time delivery.
- Partner with Quality to ensure processes meet internal and external standards, drive corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to maximize uptime and improve equipment reliability.
- Lead site-level continuous improvement projects (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, etc.).
- Ensure effective communication with employees through regular updates, meetings, and feedback sessions.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and talent development to build a capable and motivated workforce.

- Safety (recordable rate, near-miss reporting, corrective action closure)
- On-time delivery (internal and external)
- Quality (customer complaints, internal defects, first-pass yield)
- Productivity and labor efficiency
- Site profitability vs. budget
- Employee engagement and retention
Role Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or Business preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, ideally in low-volume, high-mix production (experience in the print industry, OEM Manufacturing is preferred). Demonstrated success leading teams, improving processes, and managing budgets. Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred. Exposure to EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework is preferred.

- Lead problem-solving efforts and determine corrective actions.
