
Die Cut Operator

We provide prompt services and quick turnarounds by understanding our customers’ design, shipping, and quantity preferences. We have secured new contracts and are growing quickly!
Ideal candidates should have experience in setting up and running Clam Shell Die Cut Machines (Brausse, Imperia, Standard, Thompson, or equivalent). Ideal candidates should have attention to detail, problem solving skills, the ability to communicate efficiently, and be reliable.
We are looking for a Part-Time employee to work Monday-Friday from 7am-noon. We do complete background checks.
Most important abilities/functions of this role?
- Produce a quality product. – Attention to detail, read and understand job specifications and layouts, catch and/or bring attention to errors.
- Ability to work safely at all times and promote a safe work environment.
- Understand our manufacturing expedite list. – Requires attention to detail and an ability to allocate resources and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Adapt to changing schedule throughout the day. - Requires ability to switch priorities and focus on what tasks need to complete by end of day.
- Delegate the task list to others in the department if needed.
- Stay up to date with changing technologies
- Trouble-shoot print/color issues while working with Customer Service, Scheduling, Production Manager, and others to resolve.
Job Functions Include (Experience is strongly preferred):
- Determine job to cut next by consulting the Die Cutting Job List
- Review and follow job ticket
- Rack printed/processed sheets before cutting down to size when/if necessary
- Clean adhesive off edges of material as necessary as you make your cuts to the material
- Clean and change cutter blades as necessary
- Communicate any production challenges and/or specification inconsistencies with lead or manager
- Update job ticket for any changes to production plan
- Deliver job to correct staging area for next operation
- Adhere to all maintenance processes and schedules
- Maintain proper inventory of all department consumables
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned by supervisors
